A pious man named Thabit ibn Ibrahim was walking on the outskirts of Kufa. Suddenly he saw an apple fall outside the fence of a garden of fruit. Looking at the red ripe apples that lay on the ground make saliva Thabit rising, especially on a hot day and was thirsty. And without thinking long and dimakannyalah collected the apples were delicious. but only half the food she remembered that the fruit was not hers and she has not got a permit owner. So he immediately went into the orchard was to meet with the owners to justify the fruit that has been eaten.
In the garden he met a man. So he simply said, "I've already eaten half of this apple. I hope you menghalalkannya". The man replied, "I'm not the owner of this garden. I Khadamnya assigned to care for and take care of his garden." With a tone of regret Thabit asked, "Where is the house owner? I will meet him and ask for an apple that has permitted this I ate." Management of the garden was told, "If you want to go there then you should take a day trip last night." Thabit ibn Ibrahim vowed to go see the owner's garden. He told the old man, "No why. I will still go see him, although his home away. I have eaten the apple that is not lawful for me because without the permission of the owner. Is not the Holy Prophet has warned us through his saying:" Who his body grew from the illicit , then it is more feasible to feed the fire of hell "
Thabit went to the house of the owner, and the arrival there he knocked on the door. After the landlord opened the door, direct Thabit greet politely, saying, "O generous gentleman, I already ate half of the apple that fell out of the host master garden. Because of that justifies what the master would have ate it? " The old man is watching him carefully before Thabit. Then he said suddenly, "No, I can not menghalalkannya except on one condition." Thabit was worried by the requirement that for fear he could not fulfill. Then she immediately asked, "What condition was the master?" The man replied, "You should marry my daughter!"
Thabit ibn Ibrahim did not understand what the intent and purpose of man, then he said, "Is it because I only eat half the fruit apelmu out of your garden, I have to marry your daughter?" But the owner paid no question Thabit. He even added, he said, "Before the wedding starts you must know first that my daughter's shortcomings. He is a blind, dumb, and deaf. More than that he was also a lame!"
Thabit very surprised by the testimony of the owner of the garden. He thought to himself, whether he deserves such a woman as a wife persunting because half the apple that is not lawful to him? Then the owner declared again, "Besides the terms that I can not justify what you eat!"
However Tsabit then replied firmly, "I will accept his courtship, and perkawinanya. I have vowed to conduct a transaction with God Rabbul 'alamin. For that I will fulfill the obligations and my rights to him because I very much hope God always meridhaiku and easy- I hope I can improve the goodness-kindness in the sight of Allah Ta'ala. "
So the wedding was held. The owner of the garden would present two witnesses who will witness their marriage ceremony. After the marriage ended, Thabit are welcome to enter upon his wife. When Thabit would enter the bridal chamber, he thought it would still say hello even though she was deaf and dumb, because it is not an angel of God on the loose in the house certainly is not deaf and mute as well. So she began to say hello, "Assalamu'alaikum ..." No warning at all women who have now officially be front and his wife answered with a good greeting. When Thabit about to go over to her, she reached out to greet her hand. Once again Tsabit surprised because the woman who has become his wife welcomed a helping hand. Thabit was terhentak witnessed this fact.
"Her father said she was deaf and dumb woman but she turned out to welcome greeting well. If that means a woman who is before me is to hear and not dumb. His father also said that he was blind and paralyzed, but he turned out to welcome my arrival with a friendly and reach out with tenderness Similarly, "Thabit said in his heart. Thabit think, why her father delivered the news that contrary to the truth? After Thabit sat beside his wife, he asked, "Your father told me that you are blind. Why?" The woman then said, "My father was right, because I never see anything that is forbidden of God."
Thabit asked again, "Your father also said that you were deaf. Why?" The lady replied, "My father was right, because I never want to hear the news and stories of people who do not make the pleasure of Allah. My father also told you that I was mute and paralyzed, is not it?" Thabit asked the woman to be her husband who is now legitimate. Thabit agreed slowly nodded his wife's question. Furthermore, she said, "I say dumb because in many ways I just use my tongue to mention asthma Allaah alone. I also said to be paralyzed because my feet do not ever go to places that can cause anger of God Almighty."
Thabit was very happy to get a wife who was very pious and women who maintain themselves. With pride he said of his wife, "When I saw her face ... Subhanallah, he's like a full moon on a dark night." Salihah Thabit and his wife were living in harmony and beautiful and happy. Not long after they were blessed with a son who transmit their knowledge to the rest of the world's wisdom.
